I’m a technologist and self-taught animator now living in Bucharest, Romania. I'm drawn to themes of memory, perception, and the quiet patterns that connect our inner lives with the wider universe.

In 2023 I stepped away from tech to make Fracti, my first animated short film. After the long year of making the film itself, another year of festival screenings around the world followed. Somewhere along the way, I found myself moving back to Bucharest, after 14 years abroad in the US and Switzerland, as if the film had quietly shown me the way home.

Alongside filmmaking, I enjoy creating small interactive works. One of them is Silent Poems, an experimental coding project where words become a collaborative canvas. You can try it at silentpoems.net (desktop only).

Every now and then I post a poetic small animation on Instagram, where I was lucky enough to find an audience.

About my career outside of art you can find out on linkedin.

Today I balance my tech career with personal creative projects. I'm currently completing my next film, mora, an experimental animated short blending digital animation with analogue watercolor techniques.

Sometimes I collaborate with musicians, festivals and fellow artists, creating animated works inspired by music or moving image. I currently take on just 2-3 commissions each year.
